Stay on Track with the GPS

Many people use a GPS to guide them when they are driving, but actually, how does the GPS work and how the GPS get the signal and able to detect your position? The GPS uses some source to get the signal. Here is little information about the source of GPS signal.

GPS technology is using the satellite to find the location. It takes time for signal to receive it, with the assisted GPS on the i phone GPS navigator provides further technology. They create a solution for the signal problem, it is created to find the closest satellite which make it able to identify your position just in second. It works faster compared to the regular GPS.

The I phone uses the GPS satellite, wi-fi hot spot and cellular tower to find the location. It will use the satellite if you are outside the room. But when you are inside, without a clear satellite signal, it will use the wi fi hot spot to detect your location. If you are can not ranged by the wi fi hot spot, the GPS will find your location with the cellular tower near you. The conclusion is, wherever you are, the GPS will able to track your location.
